The Music Society Committee

President

Rhys Morris is a Bmus student from Swansea. His principal study is voice (bass). Within the music society, his role is to ensure that the committee runs smoothly, and all the jobs get done.

Rachael Stephens is a Bmus student from Truro, Cornwall. Her principal study is voice. Her role within the society is to keep track of membership and ensure all the records are up to date.

Tara Newport is a BA music student from Chepstow. Her principal study is voice (soprano). Within the society, Tara's role is to keep track of expenditure and income.

Rhiannon Davies is a Bmus student from Cardigan, Wales. Her principal study is voice. Her role within the society is to organise all society social events. On top of this, she is one of this years finalists for Miss Wales.

Annie Sheen is a Bmus student, also from Cardigan, Wales. Her principal study is voice. Her role within the music society, along with Rhiannon's is to organise all society social events. She is also a member of the WNYO, and regularly participates in stage productions.

Connie Shackleton is a Bmus student from Okehampton. Her principal study is voice. Her role within the society, along with Jo, is to organise and run the lunchtime concerts.

Jo Marriott is a Bmus student from Carmarthen, Wales. She is a first study clarinetist. When she is not being a pirate, she, along with Connie, organises and runs the lunchtime concerts. Jo also plays for the Cardiff netball team.

Jessica Davies is a Bmus student from Monmouth. Her principal study is violin. Her role within the music society is to organise the assistance for the conductors of both the choir and orchestra. She also keeps the choir and orchestra members updated with what is going on.

Jon Yardley is a BMus student from Wolverhampton. Jon is a first study pianist and plays the double bass in the university orchestra. Jon's role within the society is to act as a liaison between the music society to find musicians for special occasions as well as publicising society events.

I.T. Coordinator

Sean Dingley is a Bmus student from Christchurch in the South of England. His principal study is organ, but is also a pianist (accompanist), oboeist, singer (bass and CT) and recorder player. His role in the music society is to ensure that all things to do with computers run smoothly, and he is in charge of web design.
